HVAC Manager Jobs description

HVAC managers manage unit installation and replace heat exchangers and compressors. HVAC managers also handle ongoing projects and services and work with process improvement committees. Coordinating with management teams and taking initiative on projects are also among the important duties of HVAC managers. In addition, HVAC managers participate in hiring qualified service providers, developing reports to monitor progress, and solving problems.

HVAC managers keep track of requests, cancellations, service provider information, work orders, store information, additions, and updates. HVAC managers also provide sales support, handle budgets, and build strong relationships with customers and service providers. Selling new services to existing clients and arranging client meetings are additional responsibilities of the HVAC manager. HVAC managers provide HVAC training as well.

To become an HVAC manager, one should have a minimum of five years of experience in the HVAC field. HVAC manager job candidates with five years of experience managing and supervising construction and remodeling are considered ideal. Retail construction experience is also a plus for HVAC manager job candidates. Computer skills are required for HVAC manager jobs.
