HVAC Teaching Jobs description
An HVAC teaching job involves teaching to operate, maintain, and repair HVAC, and refrigeration equipment using a proven curriculum, managing a positive classroom environment and monitoring student progress through verbal and written means. An HVAC teacher monitors and controls classroom safety, tools, usability of equipment classroom and laboratory, laboratory and test preparation; and maintains all attendance, grading, and testing records. An HVAC teacher facilitates student retention and academic success and students receive feedback about their progress at least once a week.An HVAC teacher job requires a high school diploma or equivalent certificate (GED) and along with demonstrated skills and 2+ years HVAC experience. An HVAC teacher must be knowledgeable in the field of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC; must know motors, compressors, vacuum pumps, heating - cooling controls; and must be able to read blueprints, etc. An HVAC teacher must demonstrate an interest with and concern for students and in the entire education process.
